He never said that his concerns about Driscoll didn't matter. He never backed down from fidelity to Biblical truth. He was apologizing for words that should have been said in a different manner in a different context. He saw that his OWN tongue can be lit by hell itself, to quote James. Plus, I see Driscoll and McLaren in different lights. (Note: I am not defending Driscoll's sensual language) But Driscoll has acknowledged his need to work on this area. Let's pray that Camp can truly be iron sharpening iron! But McLaren is not repenting of his heresy. Don't get me wrong, we need right doctrine AND right living. But don't you see a difference between the two? I think you may be missing the point of Steve Camp’s blog post.
