So in order to make liveblogging completely pointless… I’ll be posting these on a delay.
The conference begins with a session with the man himself, Mr. Bill Hybels. (Here’s your chance to start watchblogging, Hybels-haters.)
Opening video segment is a nice study in diversity. Followed by singing. Very happy, energetic singing. It almost seems a little fake.
Over 120,000 people involved today at satellite locations all over the world. Most of us are sitting in a room watching a big screen. So far the feed has been shaky, producing a few moments of Matrix-like sound and vision.
OK, so basically this is TED for Christians. Pretty cool.
